The best part of Kyoto is it's only a train ride away from all sorts of other cool cities! Like Osaka, Kobe, and Nara!

The guy sitting next to me stopped talking to me when I took Applejacks picture on the ticket.

 I was told to go to Nara to see the deer. Because Deer are cute.

 I was worried they might think Applejack was food so I took quick snaps.

 Also in Nara is the worlds largest wooden statue. A MASSIVE (and I do mean MASS-IVE) Buddha statue!

That building houses the biggest Buddha I've ever seen!

 A story about this picture. As I set up Applejack to take her shot on this thin fence some guy jumped on the fence, shaking it, and knocking her onto the ground. You're not allowed onto the grass so I had to plead (in the best Japanese I could) to one of the grounds keepers to get her back for me. He didn't know what dropped at first, walked over to where she was, shook his head and came back to tell me he he couldn't find anything. So I showed him a picture of Applejack. No lie. The guy laughed. Walked straight to her, picked her up, and brought her back to me. Applejack was safely back in my care!

You can't tell but its a MASSIVE statue!
