April 21st

As it turns out every first sunday and 21st of the month Toji Temple had a flea market. I grew up going to flea markets all the time so I decided to check it out! Best part is, Toji Temple was a 5 minute walk from my hotel!

 The inside was crowded with people. I bought a bronze dragon turtle! It was mostly stalls and such. The same thing you'd see at any flea market, except it was all japanese!

 On the way back to my hotel I stopped by another small shrine that seemed to be setting up for something. Not much was going on there...

 Having a whole day to go through I decided to stay local and headed to Kyoto Station. It's actually a really cool place, both architecturally and tourism wise!

I just wish I got a picture of AJ in the Happy Garden at the top of the station.
